We’re very please and fortunate to get the opportunity to stay at Tsuruya Ryokan as the service and meals are excellent. We are especially impress with the multi-course dinner that was served last night. The quality, presentation and taste of the dinner by far one of the best we have experienced since we stayed of various ryokan along the Nakasendo route.
A wonderful hotel! You have thought of everything. Only thing is we would have loved more coffee packs.

The dinner set is very good, better than other hotels. Free borrowing of DVD is excellent.

Hotel Tsuruya is wonderful. The service is great. Suggestion: Please recycle as much as you can. Brushes & other plastics should be recycled and not thrown away. Our earth needs to be protected from too much trash. Thank you!
I loved my stay @ Tsuruya Ryokan. The accommodation and meals were exceptional. But most of all, the staff were so wonderful. I would love to return to Tsuruya in the future. P.S. I feel shamed about the less than desirable behaviour of some westerners. (ignorance, poor manners) at meal time.
